Confinement
Today is day 1 of mandatory confinement for the Corona Virus in France. If I were to be completely honest I am already bored. Being stuck inside isn't really my jam, so to pass the time I am sitting by my window and putting down a few thoughts here.
I moved to France in September 2019 and it has been an record breaking rainy Fall and Winter. We have had rain almost everyday since I arrived from Hawaii. I thought the first winter here would be challenging but WOWZA... I had no idea! Little by little I am adjusting AND little by little the weather is improving. So... here I am today sitting in my cozy home with my amazingly supportive hubby and looking out the window at one of the most spectacularly sunny days I've seen since arriving in France.
I have been on a long social media hiatus. I needed a chance to unplug from internet reality so I could experience and celebrate this new and wonderful world that I live in. I have so much to be thankful for. Approaching each day with gratitude has allowed me to ignore the rain and not lose hope for spotting a rainbow!
